Wellbeing at the touch of a button
Ready to make some healthy changes in 2022, but not sure where to start? Why not take a look at our health and wellbeing apps library. There are hundreds of apps to download at the touch of a button.

We're working with Orcha – The Organisation for the Review of Care and Health Applications – to provide an online library of digital health and wellbeing support.

From support for long-term health conditions to apps that can help people to stop smoking, sleep better and improve their mood, there are hundreds to choose from.

Each app has been assessed against a wide range of criteria including the quality of the content, ease of use and data protection so you know you can trust it. To find out more please access the Derbyshire County Council website

Primary school applications deadline
Parents who have yet to apply for their child's infant, junior or primary school place for September 2022 are being encouraged to do so before the deadline on Saturday 15 January.

Applying online is quick and easy and allows parents to make changes to an application at any point up to the closing date. Anyone who applies online will receive an email to confirm their application has been received.

When completing the application form parents will be asked to list, in order of preference, the three schools they would most like their child to go to.

Parents who cannot apply online can Call Derbyshire to apply on 01629 533190 between 8am and 6pm on weekdays and 9.30am and 4pm on Saturdays. Please access the Derbyshire County Council website for more details.

Sign up for climate change updates
Do you want to find out more about what we're doing in Derbyshire to help tackle climate change?

We're leading a once-in-a-generation opportunity to reduce carbon emissions generated across the county to help meet ambitious targets to become net zero.

Net zero means reducing our carbon emissions right down to the lowest possible level and off-setting those that cannot be cut through measures such as planting more trees to absorb excess carbon from the atmosphere.

Sign up to receive regular updates about how we're working with communities, businesses and other organisations across Derbyshire and how you can get involved, on our Derbyshire County Council website.
