Erewash Borough Council has produced and approved an amended version of its Core Strategy Review which will now be subject to a six-week public consultation period.

In response to work requested by the Planning Inspector appointed to examine the Erewash Core Strategy Review at Hearing Sessions in June 2024, the Council have published an amended version of the submitted document. This has identified additional housing allocations in the Borough's Green Belt. Amendments are supported by a range of new evidence and these materials are available to view from https://www.erewash.gov.uk/planning/planning-information/erewash-core-strategy-review/core-strategy-review-amendment-consultation. It is important to note that the documents found on this webpage supplement the evidence which already exists as part of the Core Strategy Review's Examination Library, which remains unaltered.

Consultation runs for a six-week period beginning on Monday 7 April 2025 and ends at midnight on Monday 19 May 2025. All duly made representations received by the Council will be forwarded on to the Planning Inspector examining the plan.
